Introduction
The Community Foundation uses a single “universal application” so applicants complete one form to be considered for more than 30 scholarships. This streamlines the process and may qualify you for multiple awards with a single submission.
How to get started
Access written and video tutorials here for step-by-step instructions on creating your account and filling out the universal application. Important: do not register with a school-issued/high school email address. If your application becomes eligible for a scholarship, communication will primarily be by email after graduation, so use a personal email account you will retain.

Deadlines and notification
- Application deadline: March 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., unless a specific scholarship listing states a different date.
- Award notifications: Scholarship recipients will be announced either at their high school awards ceremony or by email on or before June 30, 2026.
Eligibility and matching
Each scholarship has specific eligibility requirements (for example, current school, intended field of study, residence, etc.). The application includes questions that determine which scholarships you qualify for. If the system does not match you with any scholarships and you believe that is incorrect, email scholarships@cfgcr.org. Continue completing and submitting your application, including your transcript and a recommendation letter (if required); Foundation staff will review all submissions and may contact you if additional opportunities become available during the year.
Application requirements and technical notes
Applications must include all required information and attachments to be submitted. If you are using a Mac, do not upload files in the .pages format — convert documents to PDF or another common format before uploading.
