Nor-Cal RCA Student Athletes Scholarships

Introduction
The Nor-Cal Retired Coaches Association (RCA) is committed to helping deserving high school athletes from Northern California continue their education after graduation. To support that goal, the RCA will award multiple scholarships of $2,000 each to graduating student athletes to assist with attendance at accredited colleges, universities, or technical/trade schools.
Award
- Amount: $2,000 (multiple scholarships available)
Who is eligible
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a graduating high school student in the 2024–25 school year from a high school located in Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, or Trinity County.
- Have participated in at least two seasons of varsity-level CIF sport(s) during high school. (Seasons may be in different sports. Travel teams that are not affiliated with the applicant’s high school do not qualify.)
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, or technical/trade institution for the 2025–26 academic year. If you intend to take a gap year immediately after high school, please contact the Nor-Cal RCA at norcalrca7@gmail.com before applying.
Note: Participation in college athletics is not required to receive this scholarship.
Mentoring and recognition
Each scholarship recipient will be paired with a Nor-Cal RCA member who will serve as a mentor and provide assistance as needed throughout the scholarship period. Recipients will also be publicly recognized at a Nor-Cal RCA event.
