Overview
This program is open to invited high school seniors who meet specified academic benchmarks and adhere to the application schedule. Below are the eligibility rules, academic standards, deadlines, and required competition participation.
Eligibility
- Must be a current high school senior.
- Have completed the Core 40 Diploma requirements or an equivalent college-preparatory curriculum.
Academic standards
To qualify, applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- A GPA of 95 (or equivalent) and be in the 90th percentile or higher in their graduating class;
- An SAT score of 1380 or greater;
- An ACT score of 29 or greater.
International applicants
- Minimum TOEFL score: 89, or
- Minimum IELTS score: 7.5.
Application process and deadlines
- Apply to Purdue Fort Wayne by submitting the university application no later than January 6.
- Participation in the Summit Scholars program is by invitation only. If you receive an invitation, the Summit Scholars application link will appear in your admissions checklist.
- Invited students must submit the Summit Scholars application by the end of the day on January 15.
Competition requirement
- All accepted applicants must take part in the Virtual Summit Scholars Competition on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
