Overview
The Women Legislators of Missouri provide a one-time $1,000 scholarship for female students who are finishing high school in Missouri. This award is intended for graduating seniors who will be entering postsecondary education or training.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Identify as female
- Be a Missouri resident
- Be a current high school senior
- Be graduating this year from a Missouri public high school, private high school, or an accredited home school

15. ESSAY: Women legislators consider it an honor to serve Missouri. If you were a state legislator, name one bill you would champion and explain why.
16. If selected as a recipient, you will be expected to attend the award ceremony in April (exact date to be determined).
17. If selected, your biography will appear in the ceremony program. Submit a short bio of 250 words or fewer.

You authorize the Women Legislators of Missouri and their representatives to review, verify, and discuss your academic records and other information relevant to this application. If awarded, you agree to provide any information required to permit the Women Legislators of Missouri to mail a check to your school by September 1; failure to provide that information by September 1 will result in forfeiture of the award.
