The Home Depot Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives and homes of U.S. veterans, fostering the development of skilled tradespeople to address the labor shortage, and aiding communities affected by natural disasters. The Foundation has committed to a $50 million investment to train the future generation of skilled tradespeople and bridge the opportunity gap via its Path to Pro initiative.
Our aim is to foster the development of the next wave of leaders in skilled trades by offering scholarships to further your education.
What is your intended degree or certificate program? (Mandatory)
- A program or certificate related to construction
- Associate’s degree in a construction-related field
- Bachelor’s degree (Not applicable)
- Master’s degree or higher (Not applicable)
Qualification Criteria
For consideration, applicants must:
- Be a high school senior, a high school graduate, or possess a GED equivalent.
- Intend to enroll, or be currently enrolled, in a trade-related program approved by an accredited two-year institution (technical/vocational school or college) within the United States.
- Not be an employee or a dependent of an employee of The Home Depot. However, The Home Depot employees and their dependents can apply for a scholarship through The Homer Fund.
- Have a focus on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management
